Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie Recipe

0 Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease an 8–10 inch oven-safe skillet.
1 Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla and mix again.
2 Fold in the flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms.
3 Stir in ¾ cup chocolate chips, saving the rest for the top.
4 Press the dough into the skillet and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over the surface.
5 Bake for 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is soft and slightly gooey.
6 Add flaky sea salt if desired. Let cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing or serving warm with a spoon.
