Heart Shaped Strawberry Pop Tarts

0 Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
1 Unroll the premade pie crust on a counter or bakers mat.
2 Using a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut out as many hearts that can fit on the pie crust. If you run out of space, knead the remaining pie crust and roll it out again to cut out more hearts.
3 Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place half of the heart pieces on the sheet. Leave the remaining pieces for the top layer of the pop tart. 
4 Place a tablespoon of the jam in the center of each heart.
5 In a small bowl, whisk the egg to create an egg wash. Brush the inside edges of the heart with the egg wash. 
6 Place the remaining heart cut outs on top to finish off the pop tarts and use a fork to seal the edges. 
7 Use the fork to poke holes on the top of each pop tart then brush them with the egg wash. 
8 Bake for 10-15 minutes. Allow them to cool completely before adding the icing.
9 While the pop tarts are cooling, make the icing. In a bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Once the consistency is smooth, add the food coloring. 
10 Drizzle the icing over the cooled pop tarts and finish off with your favorite valentine’s sprinkles.
