Pumpkin French Toast is the perfect way to bring a little fall to the breakfast table, made with pumpkin spice and puree for that cozy, seasonal flavor. It’s a warm, family favorite that tastes even better drizzled with maple syrup!
Make the custard: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice creamer, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, almond extract, and salt until smooth and well combined.
Dip the bread: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil. Dip each slice of bread into the pumpkin mixture, letting it soak for a few seconds on each side. Shake off excess.
Cook: Place dipped bread on the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and slightly crisp.
Serve warm with maple syrup, whipped honey butter, or a dusting of powdered sugar.
